life lately & a winner

ever have those weeks where you forget what day it is but you don't have time to stop and look at a calendar? that would be this me this week (and its only monday night, yuck). although i don't have time to sit down and share stories, i did want to share a few recent instagrams from my life lately::

friday night was girls night! 

we made 1) whole wheat pasta with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella, & balsamic

2) a salad with spinach leaves, strawberries, blueberries, & raspberries

and 3) oatmeal white chocolate chip cranberry cookies similar to these. 

the spread::

just ignore the plastic forks, mkay? and those cookies were to die for guys. 

we're talking like eat your weight, double digits worth.

we added some new additions to the room/bathroom!

1) lights around the border of the ceiling (25ft for $6.00 at target. um, score)

2) a sweet nothing next to the bathroom mirror.

Oh, and this is just me trying to make studying more fun by adding pretty colors.

but how could one possibly study, when the campus looks like this?
