a hurrication.

Hello! I'm back from my hurrication. We received an email earlier today informing us that we're off lockdown, and are free to move in and out of whatever buildings we please. Yesss. I have so much to be thankful for. We never actually lost power, and as far as I know, the storm didn't cause any damage here on campus. Everyone is safe and sound! However, my thoughts and prayers go out to those that are still dealing with repercussions of the storm. I have an aunt in New York that's still without power, but I'm hoping her preparations are paying off. ;)

The last two days looked a little something like this::

+getting seriously decked out in rain gear before the lockdown to grab our emergency mealz

+enjoying a cup of coffee in the dining hall and preparing to wait in the monstrous line for the yummies

+literally just laying around.

+our ceiling fell down from the leaks, but its okay 'cause i painted my nails a halloween orange.

oh, and I watched an entire season of Downton Abbey on Netflix. So it was only seven episodes, but still. Guys, its an obsession. So good!! I swear I was actually supposed to be born in that time period. Everybody go watch. Now.
