As much as I hate to admit it, I've really enjoyed having a kitchen while being here. Since starting school, I've migrated from dorm room to dorm room, (not) using community kitchens, only having to make due with the top-of-a-mini-fridge-turned-counter-top. And even though we are certainly crammed into this little flat, an entire room for a kitchen, sharing or no sharing, has been wonderful. So yes- I've become "that" girl, pinning my life away and living vicariously through talented food bloggers. (My roommate can testify, as she's worse than I am.)

But honestly, who knew there was more to a diet besides milk & cereal? And although I've considered myself microwave top chef for quite some time now, I think I'm finally ready to branch out into the real world of cooking real food. Yes mom, I know toast doesn't count. Even WITH butter.

So above are a few things floating around that I've wanted to try. I'll let you know how it goes. I realize one is only a sandwich and two of the four are pumpkin related, but I'm a beginner and its Autumn. What can ya do.
