that time we had two snow days in a row

so as i'm sure you've heard, the east coast got hit with a bit of a polar vortexy weather thing...fast forward through crossed fingers and happy jumps and sleepy smiles...its almost noon and i'm still in my jammies on my second snow day in a row. 

and because of MLK day on monday, i haven't had school all week. but even though its only the second week of classes, its nice to have a little break. is it just me, or does january feel like an exceptionally long month? 

the snow/ice thing going on in fredericksburg right now is truly beautiful, i do have to say. its my first official snow of the season since being back on US soil & and my heart is so happy.
